Hutton, Marion (birth name was Marion Thornburg)
Born in Little Rock, Arkansas 3/10/1919; died 1/9/1987 of cancer in Kirkland, Washington. She was the younger sister of actress Betty Hutton. Married and divorced twice, then musician Vic Schoen (?-1987 her death). Vocalist with the Glenn Miller Orchestra from the late 1930's to
1942. Featured vocalist with the Miller band on recordings including Chattanooga Choo-Choo; Moonlight Serenade; Don't Sit Under The Apple Tree; I'll Be Seeing You.

Vocalist on The Glenn Miller Show for CBS-Radio (1939-1942). Screen debut in Orchestra Wives (1942). Regular performer on Revere All-Star Revue for Mutual-Radio (1948). Last movie was Love Happy (1950). After conquering a life of acoholism and addiction to prescription drugs, she retired from show business in 1954 and spent the rest of her life helping other acoholics.
