Miller, Marvin (birth name was Marvin Mueller)
Born in St. Louis, Missouri 7/18/1913; died 2/8/1985 of a heart attack in Santa Monica, California. Married to Elizabeth Dawson (1939-?). Miller began his radio career at KWK-St. Louis in 1931, announcer at KMOX-St.Louis (1932-1939), then became a free-lance radio actor/announcer that appeared on thousands of radio programs, was dubbed radio’s “man of a thousand voices.” Screen debut playing Yamada in Blood on the Sun (1945). Last movie was playing the sheik in Hell Squad (1985). Grammy Awards in 1965 and 1966 for recordings of Doctor Seuss stories.
