Born in Louisiana 6/10/1911; died 9/30/1988 in Northridge, California. Married and divorced to actor Frank Nelson (1933-?). Lansing and Nelson met when members of the Georgia Fifield Players. Provided her voice for characters of Aunt Ena and Mrs Possum in the Disney animated movie, Bambi (1942). Lansing was the founder and producer for the Hollywood Show Place Theatre. She designed her own Studio City home, which was called the Fryman Ranch.
