Married and divorced to actress Rachael Kempson (1935-1985 his death). Father of actors Vanessa, Lynn and Corin Redgrave. Grandfather of actor Natasha Richardson. Screen debut in Secret Agent (1936). Last movie was Rime of the Ancient Mariner (1976).
