Spoiler : Born in Hartford, Connecticut 12/17/1900. Cloutier began his broadcasting career in 1925 as the leader of the Merry Madcaps on WTIC-Hartford. He was featured on his own programs with his orchestra on programs on NBC (1938); NBC-BLUE (1939-1940; Mutual (1940-1941) with various titles of Cloutier Calling; Cosmopolitan Melodies; Music of Manhattan; The Name Speaks; Rhythm and Song; Song for Saturday; Stars and Starters. The Cloutier orchastra provided music for The Jane Pickens Show on NBC-Radio (1948-1949). In the 1940s and 1950s, Cloutier and the NBC Symphony Orchestra recorded transcriptions for the NBC Thesaurus library.
