Olsen, Ole (birth name was John Bigvaard Olsen) Born in Peru, Indiana 11/6/1892; died 1/26/1963 of a kidney disease in Alburquerque, New Mexico. Brother of actor Stephen Olsen. Olsen formed the comedy team of Olsen And Johnson with Chick Johnson in 1914. The team's screen debut was in Oh, Sailor Behave (1930).

The comedy team made their radio debut on the Rudy Vallee Fleischman Show for NBC-Radio (1932). The comedy team starred on their own CBS-Radio program (1933-1934). The team produced and starred in the Broadway play Hellzapoppin (1939), same for the 1941 movie version of the play. 1946 Johnson was a substitute for Don McNeil on The Breakfast Club on ABC-Radio, created Sunshine Shower on the program which McNeill continued after his return.
