Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 7/15/1908; died 3/8/1993 following a long illness in Beverly Hills, California. Attended the Temple University. Levy began his career writing detective stories. Writer of comedy material for Al Jolson, Joe Penner, Bert Lahr and the comedy team of Abbott and Costello. Writer for radio programs including My Friend Irma on CBS (1947-54). Creator, writer and producer of December Bride on CBS-Radio (1952-1953); CBS-TV (1954- 1959).
