Spoiler : Baer went on to star in several episodes of the Adventures in Oddysey radio drama produced by Focus on the Family. He played Joe Finneman who owned the local Oddysey Grocery market. And he played Sir Reginal Duffield, a British Army Officer in a very popular AIO three part series based on WWII; Escape From Manatugo Point. Very talented. Very versatile. Very missed.

Spoiler : Baer, Parley Born in Salt Lake City, Utah 8/5/1914; died 11/22/2002 from complications of a stroke he suffered 11/11/2002 at the Motion Picture and Television Hospital in Woodland Hills, California. Baer had suffered a major stroke in 1997 which affected his speech, ending his acting career. Married to former circus aerialist Ernestine Clark (1946-2000 her death). Baer began his radio career in 1933 at KSL-Salt Lake City. Served as a captain in the Army Air Corp during WWII, awarded seven battle stars for service in the Pacific theater of the war. Following WWII, Baer became an animal trainer working with lions and tigers in a circus, and in later years he was a docent at the Los Angeles Zoo, and was on the board of the Los Angeles Circus, a one-ring community circus. Screen debut in Last movie was Last of the Dogmen (1995).
