Spoiler : PATRICIA NEAL (1926 ~ 2010) Neal won the Best Actress Academy Award for "Hud" (1963) and is well remembered as well for "The Day The Earth Stood Still" (51) and "Breakfast At Tiffany's" (61). Other films included: "The Fountainhead" (49), "Operation Pacific" (51), "A Face In The Crowd" (57) and "In Harm's Way" (65). Patricia suffered a stroke in 1965, but fought and recovered enough to star in 1968's "The Subject Was Roses" - earning a Best Actress Oscar nomination. In 1971, she originated the role of Olivia Walton in the TV movie "The Homecoming: A Christmas Story" - before the series The Waltons debuted the following year (in 1972).

Spoiler : I meant the actress Patricia Neal in St Petersburg Florida in 1965 at the beauty salon in m a a s brothers department store in downtown St Petersburg. She was very normal and I enjoyed visiting with her she was visiting St Pete to see her mother who lives there. A great person and actress!

Neal began her career as an understudy in The Voice Of The Turtle (1946). Screen debut in John Loves Mary (1949). Academy Award for Hud (1963). Jack Carson introduced Neal on her radio debut on Hollywood Star Preview for NBC sometime between 1947 and 1950.
