Born in Fulton, Illinois; died 10/26/1964 at age 59. He became interested in writing while in high school. He continued his writing interest while attending Illinois Wesleyan University where he was a member of several literary clubs, and had his first short story published. Rhymer was the creator, director and writer for Vic And Sade on the NBC, Mutual and CBS Radio Networks (1932-1946).
