Spoiler : Hobbs, Peter (aka Peter Hobbes) Born in France ca 1918 while his father was a practicing physician during WWI. Shortly after delivering Peter, his dad contracted influenza and died in France. Hobbs and his mother returned to New York City, where he grew up, and attended Columbia University. In 1938, he joined a summer stock company, soon was touring in bit roles, later understudied for Marlon Brando in theatrical productions. Screen debut in I Live In Grosvenor Square (1945). Last movie was playing the veterinarian in Hot To Trot (1988). McCoy on Charlie Wild, Private Eye for the NBC and CBS Radio Networks (1950-1951).
