Hall, Porter (Clifford Porter Hall) Born in Cincinnati, Ohio 9/19/1888; died 10/6/1953 of a heart attack in Los Angeles, California. Married to actress Geraldine Hall (?-1953 his death). For many years he served as a Decon at Hollywood's First Presbyterian Church. On stage in many plays including It Pays To Advertise. Screen debut in The Thin Man (1934). Academy Award for The Plainsman (1937). Last movie was Return To Treasure Island released in 1954.
