Spoiler : Ralph Bell and Bob Dryden - two powerhouse CBSRMT actors who were so consistent. I just never tire of either actor in their brilliant performances. Best episodes were when both were in the same one.

Spoiler : Ralph Bell was born on November 27, 1915 in New York City, New York, USA as Ralph Scognamiglio. He was an actor, known for Guiding Light (1952), Zelig (1983) and Wolfen (1981). A very successful voice-over actor and announcer. He had a very quirky sing song style of delivery. Portrayed Lt. Travis Rogers on NBC Radio's "Barry Craig, Confidential Investigator He landed several roles on Broadway before turning to radio in the late 1940s, portraying characters on such shows as “This Is Nora Drake” (1947), “Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar” (1949) and “Dimension X” (1950). He appeared on many shows inluding the Patty Duke Show, The Jimmy Durante Show, The Edge of the City, Pueble, The Andy Griffith Show, later in his career, Bell acted on "Law & Order" (NBC, 1990-2010). Fans of the Andy Griffith Show know him as Special Investigator William UpChurch who came to Mayberry to help Andy and Barney solve the case of stolen cows. He appeared in 123 episodes of Radio Mystery Theater.

Graduated from the University of Michigan in 1937 with a major in English, then taught drama and play production at the school. A year later, he moved to New York, appearing in Broadway plays including George Abbott's. "Oh What A Life." Charlie Gleason on the CBS-Radio soap, The Strange The Romance Of Evelyn Winters (1944-1948). Jack Eastman on the CBS-Radio soap, Valiant Lady during the 40's. Arthur Drake on the NBC and CBS Radio Network soap, In This Is Nora Drake (1947-1959). The Voice of Superstition on the ABC-Radio program (1948-1949). One of two actors to play Lieutenant Travis Rogers on Barrie Craig, Confidential Investigator for NBC-Radio (1951-1953). Regular performer on radio programs including The FBI In Peace And War for CBS (1944-1958); Treasury Agent for ABC (1947-1948); Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar for CBS (1948-1960); Cloak And Dagger for NBC (1950); $1,000 Reward for NBC (1950); The Marriage for NBC (1953-1954); The CBS Radio Mystery Theater (1974-1982); Adventure Theater for CBS (1977-1978). After the death of dramatic radio, Bell kept busy in commercial work and was briefly Blacklisted during the McCarthy era.
