Spoiler : I saw on a documentary they cut a scene from the Wizard of Oz where he danced on and on. He was amazing. The lose knees. He was fantastic. They almost cut somewhere over the rainbow also which is a somng that became a classic.

Spoiler : What a great dancer!!! Known for his scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz, check out The Harvey Girls with Judy Garland and John Hodiak. That dance routine was fantastic!! Loved him in that.

Spoiler : One of the great roles Ray did was Charley Wykeham in the musical "Where's Charley". I saw it at the age of 4 and i was responsible for Ray to stop the show and invite the audience to sing along with him during the song "Once in Love With Amy". I forund this out many years later when Ray was being interviewed on one of the late night talk shows and he depicted that event perfectly!!!!! I attemptend to contact him but alass....he passed six months later. A great showman!!!!!!

Spoiler : Bolger, Ray (Raymond Wallace Bulcao) Born in Dorchester, Massachusetts 1/10/1904; died 1/15/1987 of gall bladder cancer in Los Angeles, California. Married to Gwendolyn Rickard (?-?). At the time of his death, was last surviving cast member of the 1939 movie, "The Wizard Of Oz" (played the Scarecrow). Host of The Ray Bolger Show (The Rexall Summer Theater) on CBS-Radio (1945). Regular performer on Washington Square for NBC-Radio (1956). Television debut on The Colgate Comedy Hour in 1950. Raymond Wallace on The Ray Bolger Show (Where's Raymond) for ABC-TV (1953- 1955). Elected to the Theater Hall of Fame in 1980.
