Born 1/21/1915 in Los Angeles, California. Died 6/4/2007 from complications of a bacterial infection in West Hills, California. He began his career as a shild singer in vaudeville, and was an actor in silent movies as Spike of the Rinkeydink Gang in the Winnie Winkle silent shorts.

Provided effects for many KNX and CBS Radio Network programs including Big Town (1937-42); The Joe Penner Show (1937-1938); Calling All Cars (1937-39); Al Pearce And His Gang (1937-1942; 1944-45); Dr. Christian (1937-1954); The Texaco Star Theater (1938-1940); Gene Autry's Melody Ranch (1940-1943); (1945-1956); Blondie CBS (1944-1948).

In the 1950s, he continued working for CBS, doing sound effects for television programs including The Buster Keaton Show; The Carol Burnett Show; The Danny Kaye Show; The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour; Sonny and Cher; The Red Skelton Show. He retired from CBS in 1977, but kept busy working in local stage productions in Los Angeles, and appearing at OTR conventions.
