Spoiler : Born in Boston, Massachusetts 12/23/1924; died 9/9/1999 in her sleep at her Laguna Beach, California home. Married and divorced to Los Angeles television executive Mortimer Hall (1950-?); Budd Burton Moss (?-?). Roman began acting in community plays at age nine. Later won a scholarship to the Bishop Lee Dramatic School. Following graduation from drama school, tried getting roles in Broadway plays, failed to get roles, so posed for crime magazine stills at $5 per hour. Moved to Hollywood and made her screen debut with a bit role in Stage Door Canteen (1942). Roman reached stardon with Champion (1949). Minnie Littlejohn on The Long Hot Summer for ABC-TV (1965-1966).
