Billsbury, Rye (aka Michael Rye)
Born in Chicago, Illinois ca 1920.Using the name of Michael Rye, he played Gary Curtis on the NBC-Radio soap, Ma Perkins
(1933-?), and Jack Armstrong on Jack Armstrong, The All-American Boy for NBC-BLUE (1943-1944). As Rye Billsbury, he played Mark Dillon on the first audition program of Gunsmoke (6/11/1949), and Johnny Boone, Jr. on Meet Millie for CBS-Radio (1951-1954).
