Becker, Sandy (birth name was Sanford G. Becker)
Born in New York City 2/19/1922; died 4/9/1996 of a heart attack at his Remsenburg, New York home. Becker began his career as a radio announcer on stations WWRL-New York and WBT-Charlotte, North Carolina. In 1943, he became an announcer at WNEW-New York and the CBS Radio Network.
