Born in New York City; died 1/2/1999 at age 77 of natural causes at the Motion Picture and Television hospital in Woodland Hills, California. Memken began working on radio at age eleven. Moved to Hollywood in 1947. Regular performer on radio programs including The NBC University Theater (1948-1951); Four-Star Playhouse for NBC (1949); NBC Presents: Short Story (1951-1952); The Six Shooter for NBC (1953-1954).
