Comments

Born in Saulk Center, Minnesota 2/7/1885; died in 1951. Lewis won a Pulitzer Prize for his 1925 novel, "Arrowsmith," but refused to accept it. Accepted the Nobel Prize for literature in 1930 (first American to recieve the Nobel Prize). Lewis' 1929 novel, "Dodsworth" was adapted to a serial drama starring McKay Morris and Rosaline Greene as Sam and Fran Dodsworth.
