Milligan, Spike (birth name was Terence Alan Milligan)
Born in Ahmed Nagar, India 4/16/1918; died 2/27/2002 from kidney failure at his home in Rye, East Sussex, UK. Married and divorced to June Marlow (1952- 1960); Patricia Ridgeway (1962-1978 her death); Shelagn Sinclair (1983-2002 his death). Milligan was the son of an Irish father that was a sergeant-major in the British army that was serving in India at the time of his birth, and for the first 16 years of his life. Milligan was educated at Roman Catholic converts in Poona and Rangoon before his family returned to Britain. Milligan served as a army gunner during WWII.

At the time of his death, Milligan was the last surviving cast member of The Goon Show. The series, starring Milligan, Harry Secombe and Michael Bentine was launched 5/28/1951 on a BBC Radio show titled, "The Crazy People," later retitled to The Goon Show.
