Ted Donaldson Born New York, New York, August 20, 1933 Age 81 He was a screen actor from 1944-58. On radio he was best known as James "Bud" Anderson, Jr., on Father Knows Best. Holy cow.

Born in New York City 8/20/1933. Son of organist Muriel Pollock and singer-song writer Will Donaldson. Screen debut in Once Upon A Time (1944). Last movie was Phone Call From A Stranger (1952).

Donaldson began his career on radio at age five on Life Can Be Beautiful; The March Of Time; Our Gal Sunday. He had a role on Mutual's 1941 five-part "A Christmas Carol" starring Edmund Gwynne. Bud Anderson on Father Knows Best for NBC-Radio (1949-1953). He quit show business in the early 1950's, then worked several years at a Hollywood book store.
