Wonderful actress. My favorite was "Shadow of a Doubt" For its challenges. Also great in The best Years of Our Lives. Married to playwright Robert Anderson. Re Reed visited them to do a profile and came away saying they were wonderful people. He nevr said such things about anyone.

TERESA WRIGHT (1918 ~ 2005) Wright won the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for "Mrs. Miniver" (1942) and was also Oscar nominated as Best Actress (the same year) for "Pride of the Yankees" (42). She also received a Supporting Actress Oscar nomination for her debut film "The Little Foxes" (41). One of her best known films is Hitchcock's "Shadow of a Doubt" (43) with Joseph Cotten as Uncle Charlie. Another is the classic "The Best Years of Our Lives" (46). Other films included: "Enchantment" (48), "The Capture" (50), "The Men" (50), "The Steel Trap" (52), "The Actress" (53), "Track of the Cat" (54) and "The Restless Years" (58). Teresa passed in 2005 at age 86.
