Tex Antoine (Herbert Jon Antoine, Jr.) Born Chicago, Illinois, April 21, 1923 (grew up in Los Angeles) Died New York, New York, January 12, 1983 Age 59 Staff announcer at NBC in New York 1943-49. Worked on the Eternal Light, Archie Andrews, and Frank Merriwell. Worked as a TV weatherman in New York until 1977 when he was fired from his last job. Also did some memorable national TV commercials featuring some of his impromptu artwork.
