Spoiler : Verna Felton! There are quite a few memorable mothers in radio, TV and film, Fred Flintstone's mother-in-law Pearl Slaghoople, Mrs. Day (Dennis Day's Mother) and one of the fairy godmothers in Disney's Cinderella, just to name a few. All these characters (and more!) were voiced by Felton!

Spoiler : A really great character actress. I think I probably first saw her as a really awful, lazy, nightmare of a housekeeper on an episode of "I Love Lucy", but she made her real impression on me as a regular on "December Bride", playing Lillie's friend Hilda. But I especially loved her in "Picnic".
