He had such a special voice that one can never forget or confuse it with any other. I really like him so much. He looks so nice and handsome in this picture.

I love this man. Anyone remember the song he recorded? We played it all the time when we were kids.

I have four of his record albums, and one cassette tape (Christmas songs) and one single (45 record). I think the song you remember is "Old Rivers". It is one of my favorites, too. I wrote to him several years ago & received a signed photo, though I doubt that he signed it personally. He was a special actor.

Remarkable and versatile actor. The first person to, and for some years the only actor to have, won 3 Academy Awards. And what an unselfconscious man. Later in life he had to wear false teeth. Often he would go to a director before filming would begin and say to him, For this part do you want me to keep them in or out. He was often paired in important movies with Gary Cooper.
