Born in Hartford, Connecticutt 8/18/1900; died 6/26/1983 of congestive heart failure in Torrance, California. Married to former mucial comedy star Roberta Robinson (?-1936-?). Educated in England at Hampton Court where his uncle was serving as chaplian. After returning to America, he attended The University Of Notre Dame, graduating cum laude in 1921. He began his show business career in vaudeville as a singer and humorist. Songwriter for, "I Wanna Dance Wid Da Guy What Brung Me; Henry's Made A Lady Out Of Lizzie."
