Born in Rathdowney, Ireland 12/3/1916; died 7/16/1988 following surgery in Norwalk, Connecticut. Married to actress Haila Stoddard (1956-1988 his death). Came to America at age six, and was raised in Detroit, Michigan. He attended the Wayne University, while in college acted on radio programs including The Green Hornet and The Lone Ranger. Received a degree in Arts from the Univer- sity of Michigan in 1941, then moved to Chicago to act on radio. On screen in Tap Roots (1948); Buterfield 8 (1960). One of three actors to play Harry Davis on the CBS, NBC and ABC Radio Network soap, When A Girl Marries (1941-1957).
Regular performer on This Is Your FBI for ABC-Radio (1948-1953); Pete Kelly's Blues for NBC-Radio (1951).
