Gaxton, William (birth name was Arturo Caxiola) Born in San Francisco, California 12/2/1893; died 2/2/1963 of cancer in New York City. Gaxton's long time partner was Victor Moore, and they specialized in song and dance acts for vaudevile and stage from the 1920s through the 1930s. Stage debut in Music Box Revue (1922). Silent screen debut in Stepping Along (1926).
