Elliot, Win (birth name was Irwin Elliott Shalek) Born in Chelsa, Massachusetts 5/7/1915; died 9/17/1998 at the Norwalk Hospital in Connecticut. Zoology major and a hockey goaltender at the University of Michigan. He began his radio career as an announcer at WMEX-Boston in the 1930s.
