Afloat with Henry Morgan was radio broadcast that aired, as many would say, in 1933. Each episode was 12 minutes long, and was dedicated for the young listeners in particular. The producer and star of the show was George Edwards, the same person who produced the popular series Frankenstein and Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, to name a few.

In the series, Edwards used his amazing talent to play different roles. Dubbed as the "Man with a Thousand Voices," his voice enabled him to play varying characters of a man, a woman, old people, and foreigners. It is said that he was able to produce at least six different voices for a single scene. His talent thereby allowed him to reduce production expenses.

Synopis is; Captain Morgan has robbed a treasure ship owned by the Governor of Cuba, stealing an Aztec necklace greatly coveted by the Governor's daughter Dolores. will sail in two days!; While escaping, Geoffrey Hunter discovers Kitty in the swamp. He learns the truth about Dolores; Morgan decides to sail before the storm breaks, Geoffrey Hunter and a fellow prisoner escape, but he contracts a fever; Geoffrey Hunter and Hero struggle through the swamps. Will Hunter finally die?; Diaz makes good his plans to desert Henry Morgan. Kitty regrets her betrayal of Geoffrey Hunter. Geoffrey's fever has abated; Dolores and Diaz plan to betray Captain Morgan, Geoffrey Hunter decides to tell all to the governor of Jamaica; Geoffrey Hunter tells the governor of the trap set for Morgan, Kitty is taken to Cuba and despairs of rescue; Geoffrey Hunter convinces the governor that Captain Morgan is in danger; The governor sends Geoffrey Hunter in a ship to warn Captain Morgan, Dolores tells her father of Morgan's plans; The Spanish fleet is catching up to Captain Morgan. Kitty fights off the evil Diaz; Geoffrey Hunter comes aboard Morgan's ship to warn him of a trap, but is thrown into chains; Geoffrey Hunter, as Morgan's prisoner, tries to convince Morgan that it was Diaz who stole the necklace. The Spanish fleet is awaiting Morgan's ships; Geoffrey Hunter convinces Henry Morgan that he meant no treachery. Morgan uses an exploding ship to outwit the Spaniards; Morgan burns the Spanish fleet and plots against mission but is discovered!; Morgan has escaped the trap, Geoffrey Hunter is on a spying mission but is discovered!; Dolores gives Diaz the chance to help torture Geoffrey Hunter in the dungeon; Geoffrey Hunter is tortured but refuses to talk, Dolores is put on the rack and Hunter tells all; Kitty, Geoffrey and the real Antoinette de Lacy remain in prison, to shortly face the horrors of the slave market; Geoffrey's plan of escape succeeds. Hero lights a fire to create a diversion; Diaz tells Dolores that he plans to kill her and take the Aztec necklace; Diaz Kills Dolores and takes the Aztec necklace. Geoffrey's fever breaks and plans are made to escape; Diaz kills Dolores, Kitty is knifed in the back, Diaz falls off a cliff, Captain Morgan is arrested!; The conclusion of the story. Captain Morgan is to be returned to England and hanged, Geoffrey Hunter is to be governor of Jamaica!
