Sergeant Preston takes off after the bad guys and comes upon a man as big as a grizzly bear. Grizzly Martin isn't too smart, but he sure does love his dog Jock! The program may be dated June 19, 1947. A similar script was used on "The Challenge Of The Yukon on August 22, 1946 (see cat. #74724). A strong ice flecked wind whistled in the darkness around the cabin in the outskirts of Dawson. Its fury seemed to enhance the cosy comfort of a blazing log fire that beat back the cold and threw a rosy light on Pat Daly and Sergeant Preston of the North-West Mounted Police sitting before it and at his feet lay his huge silver grey dog King... |
