Title | : | sergeants right |
Air Date | : | 12.03.1948 |
Plot | : | + "The Sergeant's Right". Sponsored by: Quaker Cereals (model farm premium). "Big Mike" Rafferty believes that "might makes right". Attempted murder, claim jumping on Mission Creek and general bullying are all in a day's work. The show ends with a fine radio fist fight. The Silver Slipper Café was the gayest spot in forty miles. It was there that all the prospectors gathered in the evenings to forget their troubles, swapping yarns and spending the gold that some had almost given their lives to obtain. One reason the Silver Slipper was so popular was the presence of Annette Decelle, a French singer and entertainer. All the men vied for Annette’s favor. |
