| Plot | : | + WXYZ, Detroit origination, The Michigan Radio Network. "The Cure". Pop Raymond is an incurable practical joker. Two guys plan their own jokes with a lit stick of dynamite. Old Pop Reyman loved practical jokes and one evening in the Gold Horseshoe Bar in Dawson he and Jim owneKing saves young Jimmy’s puppy dog Mabel from drowning after he went through the ice on the river. Mabel is a naughty little puppy who keeps burying Jimmy’s pa’s mittens but Mabel saves the day when he digs up a mitten which some bad guys have hidden some grubstake papers in to stop Jimmy’s pa claiming his rightful stake in their gold claimr protested violently when he discovered Pop sawing the legs off one of the chairs at a table where two other men were seated. |
