Nearly everyone in Dawson had heard of Trigger Bill Desmond, the sharp-shooting star of the all American Wild West shows. But when Big Ben Diamond brought him to the Yukon to be the featured attraction at the music hall, the sour doughs were more than a little surprised at his appearance.
