The cold bleak winds of the winter blew over the Yukon territory, and Sergeant Preston, seated before the blazing fire in his cabin at Selkirk, put down the book he was reading and looked up expectantly at his great dog, King, as he arose from his place before the fire and growled. There's someone coming... It's Jed Handy and his dog Whitey, a beautiful animal he'd found beaten and left for dead at the side of the road... |
