This item is a record produced by WKYC radio in Cleveland, of the locally written and produced comedy sketch series entitled Congo Curt. There is no date on this item; there is a reference to the Congo Curt radio series in Billboard Magazine dated August 7th, 1965. The series was written and performed by WKYC DJ's Harry Martin and Specs Howard. The title of the record is 16 Adventures Of Congo Curt.

To the flavor of Rocky and Bullwinkle. When was Rocky and Bullwinkle a children's show? Sure, it was a cartoon but the content was most definitely for adults. I understood it more as I grew older. The puns, the politics, the characters made more sense more was I grew older.

There's also a radio series called "The Story Lady" which did 3 minute twisted fairy tales and the narrator sounded a lot like the voice of Rocky. It was Joan Gerber, who was June Foray's main competition in the late 60s to early 70s. She did voices in the grown-up cartoon ROGER RAMJET. The Story Lady was produced as part of the Superfun radio comedy service by Mel Blanc Associates.
