Again it’s early evening as we look in on the Andrew’s home in Riverdale and we find Mrs. Andrews sitting in the living room sewing when Archie arrives home excitedly. He wants to have a Halloween party there tonight, as it would really impress Veronica. His mum agrees but when Mr. Andrews arrives home from a hard days work he’s expecting a quiet relaxing night! In the house of the great Gildersleeve it is Saturday Evening, the day before Halloween and his niece is giving a party. All afternoon he's been rolling up carpets, putting extra leafs in the dining room table, carrying out furniture and carrying it in again. But now the heavy work is done he finds himself brushed aside. After an early makeshift supper he wanders forlornly out into the kitchen to watch last minute preparations there... |
