The script was used on the program again on February 16, 1951 (see cat. #50783) The show also features Maxie Rosenbloom, but with Arthur Treacher as the quitting waiter. Eddie the waiter is thinking of leaving Duffy’s Tavern as he has an offer from Grogan’s Grill but Archie is going to persuade him to stay with the usual lines, money isn’t everything and all they’ve done for him. When Archie asks Eddie if he realises there are more important things than money Eddie replies, “Yes, but they all cost money!” |
