Fibber McGee and Molly, Fibber McGee and Molly, a radio comedy series, first aired on NBC radio on April 16, 1935. The series featured real-life couple Jim Jordan and Marian Driscoll as the lead characters. It was only in 1940 when the show became a nationwide sensation, topping the ratings game versus other radio programs in America. After more than two decades on air, and over 1,600 episodes, the show had its final episode aired on October 2, 1959. Three decades later, the show was included in the Radio Hall of Fame.
