This was not the March 11, 1945 episode. It is a reworking of the same plot, with the same guest stars, apparently from about 5 years later, during the holiday season. It is also apparently the episode on which Mary made her infamous "grass reek" blooper at the end of the show!

This episode is from December 3, 1950. Jack says that it has been about 14 years since he found Rochester in 1937 (14 years next March, in fact, which jibes with the episode of the date given here). It is listed in most catalogs as "'GRASS REEK' FLUFF," which occurs at about 27:50 into the episode.
