Spoiler : I have a fairly clear memory of my mother being on the radio program "The $64 Question. My parents would visit New York City to go to Radio City, and other sites in the big city. They left my sister and I with family near Woodstown, NJ, in southern NJ. I remember sitting in a wooden rocking chair, listening to the radio and I remember the announcer/host asking her the questions $1, $2, $4, $8, $16, $32 and answering them all correctly. But she missed the $64 question. The reason I still remember that moment especially was because I, at about 5 or 6 years old knew the answer. The question asked was where in London would tourists go to see the changing of the guards. Because my grandmother told me many stories of her life as a girl in England, and used her favorite calendars sent to her by the sister remaining in England to give me illustrated lessons, I knew the answer was Buckingham Palace, but MY MOTHER DIDN'T KNOW THE ANSWER. I wish I knew the date, and the emcee's name, but that was not as important to me as that I knew the answer to the $64 question and my mother did not.
