Yesterday however they received a long distance telephone call from him advising that there was no market for the hogs at this time and he would have to keep them there until he could get a good price for them. As a result of the call the old fellers have had to abandon the idea they had of having a statue made of them selves to present to the citizens of Pine Ridge. + It’s morning in Pine Ridge and the towns oldest grocery and dry goods merchants, Lum Edwards and Abner Peabody have just opened their Jot ‘Em Down Store. |
