The Prince from India has arrived, talking Pig Latin and fooling everyone. .+ This is the day when the Squire’s friend Prince Ali Koush, the so-called Hindu miracle man is to arrive in Pine Ridge. This is the first step in Squire Skimp’s plan to extricate Lum from his fake broken leg dilemma by having the Prince pretend to heal Lum’s leg in a public demonstration... + The night of the big demonstration has arrived and everyone is at the schoolhouse to see Prince Ali Kousch, the Hindu miracle man mysteriously heal Lum’s broken leg. + When Lum appealed to Squire Skimp to not tell the insurance company about his phoney broken leg the Squire came through with a plan to save Lum. For a slight charge of only $500 the Squire would send for his friend Prince Ali Koush, a Hindu miracle man of rare powers. The prince would come to Pine Ridge, work his magic and to all outward appearances his leg would be healed and Lum could throw away his crutches. |
