| Plot | : | + Blue Network. Squire Skimp's lawyer has decided not to help defend Lum. Cedric has escaped from jail! + Things look dark in deed for the old fellows. Lum caught Abner and Cedric in the feed room the other night printing money on the Diogenes Smith’s printing press. He convinced them that they were not turning out $10 bills by virtue of some magic power but were actually making counterfeit money. After he’d sent Abner home to destroy the money he’d hidden there the stranger Mr Adams appeared and arrested Lum as the head of a big counterfeit ring. + Abner escaped the long arm of the law when his letter to the mail order house containing counterfeit money was returned for insufficient postage. However things look no brighter for Lum and Cedric. Cedric is still in jail at the County Seat while Lum who is out on bail is due to go in to court tomorrow charged with operating a large counterfeiting business. |
