The music cue are not heard on this recording. Phil has been thinking of buying a mink coat as a Christmas present for Alice so he Finds himself in the fashion store trying to choose one. At the same time Alice is at home writing a letter for baby Alice with a list of what she would like for Christmas. Of course it’s inevitable that Phil sees the list and gets the wrong idea. With the help of Tony Ramano and his orchestra Francis Langford sings “On The Sunny Side of The Street” as a dedication to a GI. Then to the Bickersons who are at the breakfast table and adhering to the belief that it is wise to start the day with a substantial meal they sat too diligently at the groaning board.
