Lynn Allen plays Doc Allison's receptionist and secretary Barbara Miller. Leona Powers plays Mrs. Bixby, the Allison housekeeper. CBS revived the series from October 3, 1955 to November 9, 1956 as a 15 minute program, broadcast weeknights at 8pm, later 9pm. This series starred Paul McGrath as Doc Allison. Bobby Alford plays Jeep. Joan Lazer revived her role as Peggy Allison. Joyce Gordon plays Barbara Miller. Much rarer, is the NBC TV series that was telecast as a summer series of 11 episodes from July 4, 1953 to September 22, 1953. It starred Jeffrey Lynn as Doc Allison. Martin Houston played Jeep. Anne Sargeant played Barbara, Doc's secretary. Betty Lou Keim played Jeep's older sister, Peggy. Leona Powers plays Mrs. Bixby, the Allison housekeeper. So far, nobody has found any of the television episodes.

Spoiler : Fun series, but a shame only so few episodes are made available. Seeing that it ran so long, there must be others around! It is very reminiscent of Dennis the Menace -- I can hear his voice and the plots being played out on that series. Any connection?
