Plot | : | + Sponsored by: Rexall. Phil sings, "Lucky Old Sun." Phil receives a valuable modern sculpture as a birthday present and decides to hold an auction. Bob McLoughlin, a Los Angeles disc jockey, declares Phil to be a "male vocal sensation" and gives him a scroll to congratulate him for his recording of, "The Old Master Painter." Today is a big day in the Harris household. Phil tells the kids he’s getting old because he has now reached the grand old age of thirty, and they laugh. But Alice jumps to his rescue and tells the kids not to ridicule their father. She says “It’s not good for an old man of 41 to be put under stress.” Lots of presents and lots of laughs. |
