Gildy reads in the notices in the local newspaper that it is 30 years to the day that Peavey located his drugstore in the building he is in. Gildy decides to stop in and congratulate him on his way to the office. Gildy expects Peavey to be celebrating but Peavey himself wasn’t aware that he’d been running his drugstore for 30 years. Gildy offers to run the drugstore for the day while Peavey has the day off. |
