Title | : | petition against trolley car |
Air Date | : | 04.21.1946 |
Plot | : | + Sponsored by: Kraft Velveeta. A streetcar has been moved onto a vacant lot. Mr. Bullard and Gildersleeve are organizing a petition against it. A well-written "message" script about the housing shortage. James L. Kraft (president of Kraft Cheese) is scheduled to deliver an Easter message, but Harold Peary reads the script when the circuit fails. Leroy watched a streetcar with no wheels being moved off the street to a vacant lot that afternoon. Apparently people were going to live in it. Marjorie thought it would be quite a good place to live but some of the neighbors decided it would be an eyesore and would ruin the value of the properties on the street. |
